Snake Steak Suasages?

Greetings,

It's my understanding that Snake Steak Sausages are more for the convenience of people and have little to do with the snakes themselves. Some people are a bit squeamish about keeping frozen mice in their freezers or handling the mice. SSS are a way to allow people to do these things without actually seeing a dead mouse. It's psychological and a little silly, really, since it's a ground up mouse inside the casing anyway.

Often you have to lizard scent the SSS to get your snakes to eat them so I don't think they would make a good choice for a finicky eater. On the other hand they're said not to bloat in the snakes belly like a mouse does, so maybe that would help prevent a regurge for a snake with a weak belly?

Cheers,
Jason

Maybe someone else can confirm or deny this, but I understand that this product is not longer being manufactured.

MPO, they aren't any more convenient and are much more expensive than mice.

cool. I think that they are still manufactured as I see them on the t-rex site, but maybe they just dont update often. Thanks for the info!
