See if this sounds right to you folks: I measured my Amel on 8/18 at 13.5" using the snake measurer program. She shedded on 8/22. I just remeasured today, 8/31, and she hit 16". Does that sound like normal growth? I guess I could've messed up my camera angles.
 
Young corns are capable of growing very, very quickly if they are being fed quite a lot or even if they're not. How much are you feeding yours? It's possible that you could have made a slight error with your photography but hatchlings are very fast growers and it's possible for some corns to reach three feet in just over a year!!
 
My Amel has just reached the age of a year ('01 hatchling). I measured him the other day, and he is approx. 3 feet, i got him when he was reeeeeaaaallly tiny!! Its amazing how much they grow in so little time!

when i looked into buying a snake the guy at the store showed me twig and his brothers and sisters they were 1 week old and they were so teeny weeny i fell in love and that was it i had to have 1
twig is now 11 weeks and nearly 18" he is massive!
the new one i brought on thursday last week is 8 weeks old and around 15" they grow so quickly its hard to keep up with them!!:D
