I would get mixed up with 1st, 2nd 3rd shed kind of thing.. I just put shed then the day and date, Reason for putting the day, as i usually dont know the date and its easier to know who needs fed by looking at the day they were last fed on :p

But whatever works for you, its your snakes :)

seems o.k................to some extent. if all of those pinky feedings were "good" with no regurges, i would think that hatching in july and still on pinkies in september is too small. remember that you want to feed at least another "1/2 the size of the largest part of the snakes body".......also, check out the link listed below. it is free, very easy to learn/use and a good tool to use for your snakes.

Not necessarily. Some snakes are just slow growers. I have a couple that were fed regularly and took 3-4 years to get to be 3ft or so and on the other hand have some 05's that are nearly that size. All were fed regularly and an appropriate sized prey.

If he's feeding an appropriate sized meal then it seems ok to me! But like you said, make sure it's an appropriate sized prey item.

thanks for the info i think a bigger prey item at the moment would be a little to big as lump remains for a good 2 days after feeding and is gone by 3rd day is this ok ? thanks

:shrugs: sorry guys............was just an opinion and thought, not an order. :grin01:

Sounds about right to me. Like gwb said, you want the prey's width to be 1.5 times the width of the snake.

And gwb, no apologies! Some great comments that very useful.
