Sneak hit the lotto

Hi, this is my baby amel corn, Sneak. (She thinks that she is sneaky.)

Sneak recently hit the lottery when I was able to purchase an Exo Terra Habitat which is 18x18x24 (approx 33 gall.) for less than half price. It looks like the one below, but is much bigger. Anyways Sneak is currently in a 20G tall aquarium.

My question is:

Is she too small/young to move up to a large viv? My husband keeps telling me to set it up, but I am thinking about waiting until she is bigger.

Thanks in advance for you advice.

It's really up to you. I prefer keeping babies on paper towels in showboxes, because you know right away what is going on (missed meal, regurge, shed, defecation, find the snake right away, etc.) Finding prey in a large cage can be a problem, but if you've only got one (or a few) snakes, you can manage feeding easily enough. I use those Exo-Terras for lizards and love them!

a larger viv is fine but make sure she has many hides/fake plants with leaves she can hide in or under so that she feels secure enough.

You could make it really fun for her with staggered reptile hammocks, too! You know, one in one corner, then one a little higher in the adjacent corner.

She looks very pretty :) Can we have some more pics of her and the cage?
I house my Amel in a 10 gal cage with about 4 hides. Water dish, sticks and some fake leaves suction cupped to the glass.

Have some fun with the decorations with the cage. Make sure the snake can reach them though :p Dont have too much clutter where you cant even reach in without knocking down something.

Spoil your snake and keep her stress-free and happy :D
