Due to certain ambiguities in her origin, I am uncertain as to whether she is anery A or B ... she looks more anery in these shots, but she looks more charcoal in the flesh:

Breeding trials will tell, I suppose. I like her either way!

So Darin, does a patternless belly always accompany bloodred as well as motley?

Nice snakes and nice pictures by the way.

One of my projects is to outcross the bloodred "pattern" as far as possible. It will be interesting to see how much of it (what we assume is a pattern) really is because of one gene, versus what can be selectively bred out of them.

It will be interesting if I can get them to the point where I hatch an otherwise 100% normal-looking cornsnake with one "I'm really a bloodred" sign to it, such as a heritable "plain belly" trait, or something like that. (Actually it would kinda suck, hehe.)
