Beleive it or not I bought this gal as a Candy Cane back in '01 along with a male sibling of her's. They both looked like exquisite candies, But as they matured they both started developing lots of lime green bands around their saddles. To this day I question what their genetic makeup is. They almost look like reverse okeetee's. Anyway, I bred them to each other this year and she dropped 18 good eggs. I cant wait to see what the babies look like.

I'm tempted to keep every opal that hatches this year, Luckily I have 2 seperate clutches from which I'll get opals from. There should be enough to go around. I'll be sure to let everyone know when they pip and when they've all fed I'll contact everyone that's interested.

bmm - You said it. When I bought her from Rich I got her more for her genes than her looks. When she arrived thought I was happily suprised. She has a very nice silver/grey coloration happening. As a sidenote I also got a normal h. blizzard/bloodred from Rich that also is a looker. I really should get around to posting some photo's of her...
