So I have a few surprises this round and need a little help. any ideas what this baby is? it is significantly more pink/yellow than the other lavs. It is 100% het Lav/Butter het stripe...but as far as what this one is...I am at a loss. I have 1 as well that I think may actually have been my 1 lav/butter but this one is just a mystery...

Will need a better pic to confirm...looks normal motley.... But again the orangish pic may be throwing the color off...

Parents

Sorry. Motley het amel lavender caramel X lavender motley het amel stripe. All hets less that 100% unknown.

Better pic

I have 4 normal mots in the clutch and it's nothing at all like those. It really Does have the purply peachy orange pink color. That's spot on actual color. That's why it a mystery haha!!
It's nothing like a normal OR a lavender.

I would say that it is a lavender motley, since lavenders can vary from slightly orange/pink colors to pale/pink or purple. I DO think that it is a little abnormally orange for a lavender, but maybe that is just the motley taking effect? Or even the caramel het is adding the yellow tinge? Or maybe just a hatchling color that will fade?

Either way, I'd leave it as definitely being a lavender motley, with MAYBE some extra effects going on in there somewhere. :)

some siblings

okay, this may help. Here is a sibling normal and sibling lavender. Both the other norms look exactly like norms and other lavs exactly like lavs. This baby is just a puzzle. here are the normal and lav.
