Dragon Princess
Hi ya'll :wavey: . I am going to be a newbie to cornsnakes and my friend Jayr told me about this site and all the great info on it. So I am here to learn before I buy. lol. I currently have 12 beardied dragons, 2 BP's, 2 RTB's, 1 mali Uro, 3 geckos(web footed, crested, gargoyle), and 1 scorpion.

Welcome! I'm fairly new here also and came here to research before I got my boy Sweets. Everyone is very helpful. It look's like you have quite a bit of experience with reptiles so I think you'll find corns are easy to care for. Good luck and have fun! :)

First things first. Go buy Kathy Love's "The Corn Snake Manual". There are a lot of (self proclaimed) experts here, but there are also a lot of "opinions". Either way, they're all TONS of help so if you have questions, ask ask ask. And WELCOME! :D

PS. What kind of corn are you planning to get?

I like the Okatee but I also discovered the Creamsicle Corn, WOW, what a beaut. There are some many to choose from and they are all awesome.

Welcome Venus! I only joined a couple of months ago and have had great advice from everyone here.

Welcome to the Forums, and congrats on deciding on a corn snake. Make sure that you ask questions...even ones that seem stupid to you. Also, if you would rather do research first and then ask, you can use the search function in the toolbar to search for a particular topic. if your don't find any info or not enough info, then start a thread and as the question.

There are a lot of good helpful people here that will answer just about everything, and a lot of the time, if you ask a question that someone can't answer, there is bound to be someone else that can either answer or point you to the answer.

We are 8 miles south of New Braunfels Texas, and about 36 miles north of San Antonio.

If you are looking for hatchlings, let me know. I still have 3 04 hatchlings Normal het for Snow. The came from an Okeetee Mother and favor her in color.

I have one pic up here of one of them. It is in the gallery. I will have to take recent pictures of the remaining three tonight when I get home. But I will see if I can find the one that is here on the forum.

Found the picture.

I believe that I still have this one, but if I do, he/she has darkened a little. This was taken a couple of weeks after hatching. I will get updated pictures tonight and post them tomorrow.

Wow , female 1 is so beutiful, she is what i was lookin for when i got black. I only wish i could get my hands on that beuty. Okeetee is what got me interested in corns. One day i will have one.

thanks. Female 1 is actually the same snake that is pictured in the toilet paper roll. She was the most colorful one of all of them. I almost don't want to sell her, but I really don't have the room to keep her right now. Maybe I will be able to keep a couple of the hatchlings I get next year.

Would be hard for me to give her up too. I am working on getting another baby soon, have to get the cash first. Would like to buy from a breeder instead of the pet store, i don't trust them. What is the best way to find a breeder?

There are tons that you can contact here on the forum. If I were set up to ship, I would make you a deal on Female 1. But, I haven't had the time to get everything set up because of a bunch of stuff going on right now.

You really do want to buy Kathy Love's book "The Corn Snake Manual. It has so much great information.

Also corn snakes are the best.
