I was looking at Viv's and they had 2 40Gal ones. They have one that is 40 Gal. Tall 30 x 12½ x 25 and one that is 40 Gal. Long 36 x 18 x 13. Which one would be good for a adult corn? I was also wondering if u could give be a brief summery of what snakes would do be better in a tall and which ones would be better for a long. The other thing is that the screen top is Galvanized metal screen tops with 1/4" galvanized mesh. Wouldn't that get to hot because it's metal? I know the light doesn't get set right on top of it, but i wouldn't think that it would still get to hot from the light shining on it.

The long tank is better. Corns need the floor space more than the height. I would not use light for heat with a corn. under tank heater is better and does not dry out the air like light does.
