South American Boa?

I have the opportunity to get a South American Boa, (for free) but know very little about them. It is about 2 feet long is all I know. Has been handled and is fairly gentle. I need to know how do you keep them as opposed to corns. Temps.... and basic care. Are they gentle/aggressive generally.....

Thanks

This thread should have gone in the General chit-chat forum.

Most boas require more humidity than Corns. Also you will need a heat gradient that goes up to the low 90's instead of sitting in the 80's. You will need a larger viv, and probably larger feeders. On the feeding side, Boas digest slower than Colubrids, so feedings will be more spread out.

You might look the a book on them, or do a websearch to see if you can find any care sheets.
