Spanish Moss?

Has any one used this moss and gotten good results with it? There is absolutely no Spaghnum moss left ANYWHERE and all I found was this spanish moss... I did a search and found an alternative called Green moss but I could not find that as well.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Kristy HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

SPANISH moss?

I'd be surprised if that is used as a substrate. It occurs in their natural area, alright; hangs from trees and is used in lots of local bird's nests. But it's highly parasitized (mites, chiggers, ticks, even cornsnakes! :D ). I've never heard of it being sterilized and used for bedding, but nothing surprises me anymore! Maybe it's Spaghnum moss that's been bleached? The package should have a content label.

Haha Thanks,

I'll take a look at the ingredients and see what it actually is:confused: Ah well, guess I'll have to wait untill may for a good moss. Thanks anyways!
Kristy
