So my pregnant kitty Blue Belle finally had her babies!!

Blue Belle is my BirmanxSiamese girl and she was bred to a purebred Seal point siamese. She gave me five wriggly little babies last night :)

Looks like I have three girls and two boys.

Blue is so bonded to me, she actually waited untill I was there to have the babies. She had been restless all day, panting, digging, and following me around. I had gone out for my last smoke of the night and when I came in she was waiting at the door crying, as soon as I came in she went towards the bedroom would go in her kennel turn around and paw at the towels, then run back to me untill I followed her. Once I got in the bedroom I sat down in front of the kennel and she was starting to have mad contractions and push.

I tried a couple times to back off and let her do her business but she would follow me out of her kennel and I didn't want her having the babies on the bed! So I grabbed my pillow and laid down beside her kennel to keep her company.

First baby was born at 10:30 PM and was breech. Gave me a few heart attack moments because she had a really hard time with it. Seemed like all I could see was a little wriggly tail and kicking feet for ages. Finally after 20 minutes of her pushing I assisted her in delivering the first baby.

Bab
y 2 arrived about ten minutes later and the rest spaced out over the next few hours. Finally at around 3:30 all babies were born, cleaned up and nursing happily.

I'm tired! But so worth it :)

For those of you that don't know, siamese babies are always born pure white. Their color points come in as they grow up. I'm expecting all of these to be blue pointed. Looks like some will have medium coats and others will be short coated.

They are so precious! Congrats on the babies. Hope we get updates on them as they grow.

I had a cat for 18yrs - she had two litters and both of them she was the same was as your girl. She had to make sure I was right there with her while she gave birth.

Shoot! I thought you were talking about baby pigeons!! JK- (but that's what they're called) those are some gorgeous kitties!!

DYK What beautiful babies! Congrat's on the healthy family!:dancer:

I'm REALLY excited about these kittens. My last three litters were a disaster.

My first litter from my purebred lynx point girl was a single kitten stillborn. He next litter was also a single kitten, and very LARGE gave her some trouble with delivering him. My next litter was from a queen I bought from another breeder and she was crazy. She had five kittens and didn't want anything to do with them... I ended up losing all but one that I bottle fed.

So to have healthy happy wriggly babies and a happy healthy sane mom is a nice treat ;)

Hi little squeakers!! I miss fostering kittens. When I was a vet tech I got bottle babies every year.

Well the babies are starting to open their eyes! Just six days old.

This one has it's eyes all the way open, there's one other one that's starting to open them and the others are still pretty tightly shut :)

New pics!

Took some more pictures of the babies tonight :) They're hard to get to stay still! Hopefully will get some better pics over the next little while.
