Squiggly~~ (Right after being rescued)

So.. I work at one of the big chain pet stores. While I was working one day, I received a phone call from a woman who just moved here with her husband to FL from NY. When they moved, they brought their niece's Corn with them.. with the intent of releasing it into the wild.
The woman called to ask if we (the pet store) would take it or if she should just release it as she originally planned. :headbang: I informed her that she should NOT release it and that unfortunately, we were not able (allowed) to take it at the store. She got all huffy, asking me what she was supposed to do with this "thing" now. She couldn't even be in the same room as the snake.

Sooo.. I told her I would take it. Her husband brought him/her to me in a 10g feces encrusted tank. The smell was horrible. I took a picture right away..
And.. unfortunately, that is the only picture I have of Squiggly (My daughter named him.. Can you tell?) right now. He's healthy and eats like a champ, however. =) So that's good.

Without further ado:

Looks like fortune is smiling on Squiggly now that he has someone to take good care of him! He's a cutie, and I'm so happy to hear he didn't end up being released somewhere.

I have a cat I took in when a friend of a friend's parents decided they were going to throw him in the park. Their reason? He sheds too much.

Glad Squiggly is getting a better home now, especially better than being released into who knows what! Very pretty :)

I brought home a lil amel hatchling last weekend that was about to be turned out in the front yard....I live in Ohio and its less then 30 degrees and snowing. It really chaps my a$$ when people treat animals as if they are disposable. That is a very pretty snake and I'm glad you were able to give it a good home.
