Steve's last days...

I'm a Sunlog!
Discovery Channel and Animal Planet are airing the documentary Steve Irwin was filming was he died.

Sunday, Jan. 21st 8pm-9:30pm.

I saw his wife and daughter on a talk show the other day..his daughter Bindy, 8 is following right in his footsteps, she takes animals to schools and teaches kids about them. His wife and daughter are both finishing all of the projects that he started, and Bindy says that she only wants to be exactly like her dad, and she want's him to be proud of her. I'm sure he is!!!!

I need to watch that. Hopefully I'm not working. =-/
Bindi is so cute and mature for her age. Watch her have her own show on animal planet in a few years.

If she gets her own show, I'll definetly be watching it. She got just as much enthusiasm as her dad. What a great idea, we should all send animal planet an e-mail suggesting it! I think I will!

I think if Discovery gave her a show geared towards kids, it would be an incredible addition to their lineup. I couldn't believe how mature Bindi was during the memorial celebration they held for Steve when he first dies. She was such a trooper, and intelligent WELL beyond her years.

I heard that they took all of the footage from Steve's last "adventure", and removed the last day, the one in which he actually died, and destroyed all the copies, but gave the orginal to Terry. I think that was the most intelligent decision a TV executive has ever made...

your absolutely right about that ! If in the wrong hands, you know that footage would find it's way to the net, on some sick site. I'm glad they destroyed it all except for Terri's copy. I think eveyone loved him, you know how when someone famous dies, within days there are sick jokes going around....I've never heard anything but great things about Steve !! He was an amazing person.

If she does a show for Discovery geared toward kids, I know I'll definitely be watching it. :)
I watched the interview that Ray Martin gave Terri. I felt so bad for her. The interview made me all teary eyed multiple times..
You can see it all on youtube..It all comes in 7 parts..

I flat out cried a few times during that interview.

I believe even the copy given to his wife was destroyed. I read an interview and she said that all copies were destroyed. That's for the best.

Just want to remind everyone its on tonight. I almost forgot until I saw a commecial.

Hope everyone can watch it. Ill be switching between that and the Pats game.

Just re-bumping the thread, just saw the commercial on Discovery...

Just finished reading Steve and Terri's autobiography, if you haven't read it you must. Great insight into thier childhoods, and the work they do.

Both shows were awesome !!! There will never be anyone who can replace him, he and his enthusiasm where one of a kind. The only person who could ever come close, will be his daughter Bindy...time will tell. The special was great, and the aftershow "Crikey" was a tear jerker for sure!
R.I.P. Steve
