strange motley

I hatched this little one last year. I've never seen a motley quite like it and was wanting everyones opinion on it. She has no white on her except the belly. And the saddles just strike me as strange. Any info would be appreciated.

Motley generally does away with borders, so that explains your lack of white. As for the pattern, it's just a motley being a motley.

I realize that. Motleys are extremely varied. Colors, patterns. I understand that. I have bred other motleys since that one, and have seen countless pics of other peoples motleys that they have bred. Even after all that i have never seen one quite like this one. Obviously the picture is not perfect. I'm not saying there is anything special about my motley, i'm just saying that it looks very unusual to me. There are a few versions of the motley gene that have been given names such as pin stripe and hurricane. I'm not saying that mine is some sort of "special" motley, I am just lookin to put a name to it.

That's WAY cool! Motley doesn't normally do anything for me, but I LOVE the look of that one! Those nice long saddles and the crisp color contrast are very attractive!

I had a normal motley hatch out with that pattern before. To me, it looks like that pattern on the end of the tail of a boa constrictor. I called him my "boa motley" haha.
