Strawberry Snow

I have just bought a new corn snake. It was marked up as a Strawberry snow striped. I was just wondering if you guys know how they are bred, and what morphs are used to achieve them?

With your being in the UK, that may create some confusion with the exact morph ID of your snake. There is a type of hypo called "strawberry" but I don't think the exact genetics behind it has been determined yet. And as for it being connected in combo with snows...I doubt it yet. If your corn is a stripe, you should be able to tell by looking at it. The breeder may be calling it a strawberry snow simply because it may be a very pink snow...like a bubblegum. Then there is the chance that the unusual name may indicate a hybrid...or there may actually be nothing "special" genetically, just a way for the breeder to sell more snakes. A pic would definately help in answering your query.

yes thats right. In Europe we call selected pink blotched snows strawberry snow. another name can be bubblegum-snow. The difference between normal pink blotched is that the groundcolor can be pink too.
