nothing furry

except for food
I just bought a young corn from some guy, the guy says that shes about a year old, but she is really small.... but thats not the issue. She is obviously genetic stripe, but she has saddles on the last 3-4 inches of her tail..is this a trait of stripe? or could there be something else in her?? I kinda thought there might be some blood red in her cause her color.... but not sure.
hope you guys can help, here are some pictures of her.

Because of the irregularities in the stripes, the width of the stripes and the shorter distance between the stripes, I would actually call your new snake a motley. More specifically, a striped motley. Your snake MAY be het for the stripe gene, but only breeding trials with a known stripe will tell. Here are some comparison pics of a known striped motley (genetically motley het stripe in this case) and 4 known homozygous stripe to help show the difference.

The motley is the second photo - system chose the order they downloaded.

Its is also known as striped variety of motley or a
reverse stripe but genetically it a motley.

Cool, thank you both. Now what exactly is motley? what kind of characteristics, besides the stripe are there, I just don't know anything about her,and herbeing the most unique, Id like to know more.

The motley is definitely homo motley; the stripey looking motley could be homo motley & just have an extreme pattern OR he may be het motley & het stripe (one copy of each).
