Substrait Question

A lot of people on the site talk about using paper towels as substrait. What sort of paper towels are they? Is it the sort you would use to dry your hands with or is it kitchen roll?

We use newspaper at the moment but thought if we could use kitchen roll it might look a bit better.

Sorry if this question sounds a bit dumb. This is our firts snake and I dont want to put anything in the viv which might cause him harm.

Any advice gratefully appreciated.

I use Tesco's own brand Kitchen rolls. They are not their budget ones though, as those are really thin. I like these ones as they have no ink on them, just an embossed pattern  and are pretty absorbant. I use them doubled up, takes six sheets to cover my viv floor.

Yep, just the plain, white kitchen paper towels work fine. I buy the cheap bulk stuff from the local discount warehouse.

I have just switched fom mulch to paper towels, mainly because of the risk of impaction.

There great and the poo dosent seem to smell as bad. I just use regular kitchen rolls.:)
