OK, I know there have been many substrate discussions before, and I'm sorry to bring it up again...but...
I was wondering if anyone has used/uses either ReptiBark or Jungle Mix.
I have been using reptibark, I like it's color and smell. But I was looking at the bag for Jungle Mix and you can plant right into it. I would like to make a natural viv as much as possible.
Which leads to question 2. Do any of you use a hydrometer? And if so, what is a good range for corns? I bought one recently, and it said desart should be 40-60% humidity, temperate 60-75% and tropical 75-85%.
I am thinking a corn should be in the temperate range...but with the repti bark I am having trouble keeping it there. It keeps going down to like 30% which seems really low.
So, as substrate and humidity are so closely related....anyone have any thoughts on these two issues???
Thanks,
Laura
