Substrate Q

I'm upgrading Snakie to her new home tomorrow, or the day after. I was thinking i would like to grow her some real grass for inside her viv. Since i currently have soil as a substrate for her, and she loves it. digs in it and everything. So i thought maybe if i grow some real grass in there it would be a nice hiding place?

So my question is has anyone done this before? If so - got any pointers on that?

It has definitely been done before, find the "post your viv" thread, its a great thread and somewhere inside it there is a viv with real grass and some pointers and explanations of how the owner did it! Make sure to post pics :D

Wow that's a cool idea and I cant believe I have never seen it done before. Makes for a really nice looking vivarium. I do have to wonder about longevity and maintenance though?
