Suddenly doesn't want his food?

My snake Hot Shot has always been a pretty good eater. I give him a regular adult mouse every week, and sometimes he had to be left alone for a few hours, but he always ate it. But now I can't get him to even be interested in his food. He hasn't eaten for about a month, and I'm getting worried. He doesn't seem agitated at all when I hold him and everything seems normal. Nothing has really changed but his loss of appetite, any idea of how I can get him interested in his food again?
He's a bit over 4 ft long and around 5 y/o, if that helps at all.

He may just be looking for a girlfriend. As long as he's not losing weight, he's fine.

Springtime hunger strike. I would just offer every two weeks. Maybe something small like a hopper.

I have the perfect solution!!
You need another snake, maybe even 2!!
Make it a female (or 2!!)
Since yours is a male he is just wanting a mate, so....
what you do is thaw one mouse.
Then try him first. If he doesn't eat, then give it to the girl.
If he eats, thaw another one!!
Then no mice get wasted!!

You know...that does work!! LOL No lie!

I've had mine go off feed this time of year as well, so I'm thinking Hot Shot is wanting to mate soon. No worries if he misses couple meals. Mine went couple months before he would eat again.

My ultramel male is doing the same thing. He's just now two and has definitely hit his hormonal period. My almost four year old male on the other hand, just wants to eat and be lazy. :)
