Sunlight?

Direct sunlight on a viv, is it good or is it bad?? Because at one point during the day there is some direct sunlight on my viv. If it is bad, I can fix it but I just figured I'd ask you pro's before doing anything ;)

Thanks

Andy

I would imagine that if the light itself is a problem your snake will hide from it.
I think the main problem to address will be the additional heat from the greenhouse effect.

Well it isn't a lot of sunlight on the viv, it is only 6 or 7 stray beams of light creeping through my blinds

If it's the odd beam of sunlight and it's not raising the heat in the viv, then I don't see it being a problem. I have a 6 inch corner of one of my viv's, that gets direct sunlight for about 20 to 30 minutes in the late afternoon, the digital thermometer doesn't register a rise in temperature, so I don't worry about it.

Just keep an eye on the temp and if it stays stable, that should be fine :)
