The story is too bazaar to tell, but I sure wasn't expecting this little bugger. "Little" is the key adjective here. Hope he/she likes the menu around here.

What are the parents???

Wow! I've never seen a hatchling corn that dark. Is it really that dark, or did the photo just come out really dark? What were the parents?

Yes, it's a striped charcoal . . .

Been pretty busy. Sorry this response is so late. Yes, it's the only one out of the clutch. These complex trait combinations are a devil to get started, huh?
