OK i know shouldn't but i feed my snake in his tank because its the best way for me. i serve his food on a tile as if it was a plate but today he dragged his mouse off the tile and has swallowed some bedding should i get him to the vet now or wait and hope hes OK. i feel really bad

I suppose it depends on how much he swallowed but I think you should keep a close eye on his poop. If he poops in roughly the normal time then he's probably OK. If he doesn't poop you need to get him to a vet. I haven't ever had to deal with this though so hopefully someone more experienced will chime in :)

I'd definately keep an eye on how he passes his poo in the next couple days.
I'd also rethink feeding in his tank. Or at the very least put something over the substrated when you feed him so he can't injest it in the future. Good luck with you guy!

It's not harmful as in poisonous, but what you should be worried about is a bowel impaction from a substance the snake can't digest.
