Swimming?

I've been reading a bit on corn snakes swimming... I'm just curious... Is there a certain age that corns need to be to go swimming? Is it alright to let them go swimming just for fun, or is it just a work out?
I saw some posts about this and I think it would be really neat to see them swim.
Any advice on that? Is there anywhere I can read more about it?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

OH! Does anyone have pictures of bath time?! I would love to see them!

I know a lot of people swim their snakes, but the one person I recall discussing it the most is Nanci. I'm sure she'll see this. I only have sec right now so I can't search through them, but just using the search option here, I put in her name and "swim" and got the following threads that you can check out if you have time. :wavey:

I don't recall there being a certain age. I've seen full grown corn snakes swim around happily, and I've seen hatchlings swim as well, though I don't know if they enjoy it all that much. Could depend on the snake.

it would seem that it depends on the snake. my snake went swimming the first time he was in blue with me. i was worried about my first snakes first shed, so i filled the tub up with water and let him go for a swim. since bathtubs are inclined, you can fill it up deep enough for them to swim (as hatchlings) and still have part of the tub dry. that's what i did, so if he got tired of swimming or didn't like the water, he could go over to the dry part. i put him in, he swam over to the dry part, then swam around the tub a bit. he's still a hatchling, so i dont think it will matter if they are hatchlings or not.
