i was just wondering have any of you used this before and do you think its a good product?

if any body has used this product before and info would be brilliant?

That seems like the type of product that you probably wouldn't need for a Corn Snake. I have never heard of it doing any harm either, so it's up to you. That stuff is made more for tropical species of snakes and lizards and you'd probably do just as well by spraying the enclosure with water while the snake is in shed. That is, if your snake is having shedding problems. If the snake isn't having any problems shedding, then you don't really need to modify anything. :)

Cornsnakes aren't a "tropical" species, so I doubt misting daily, let alone twice a day, is necessary. Too much moisture can also cause scale rot, which isn't good.

However, with that said, your humidity levels need to be kept in a specific range even when not shedding. 30-50% is what I've been told. I keep my viv right around 35%-40% when not shedding. But considering I live in the desert and it is very dry, I do need to spray my enclosure with a misting of water every 2-3 days or so to keep humidity levels up. If I don't they drop to around 10% very quickly, which is too arid for a cornsnake...

this reptile skin conditioning mist is a 5 star. i have 2 corns & a florida blue stripe garter (chloe). chloe has had bad sheds since i've had her-just a baby. this conditioner, along with shed ease(ESU or zilla) and reptile shedding aid(zoo med) are excellent products 4 shedding/humidity problems. lotecc1000

It would have been cheaper for you to just buy a misting bottle from a garden shop and fill it with water.

I keep it in my snakey first aid kit and use it occasionally when a shed is particularly difficult. However, most of the time I just give mine a humid hide when they go blue and they're fine.
