:shrugs: yesterday i was cleaning the mice. i have now five. a girls together with no male. then a group of 3. and it is one male two females. well i noticed that the 2 girls are fine. but the other cage with the 3 only the 2 females are losing a little bit of tail hair. nothing am worried about but there new and i think i can breed one of them she seems bigger then the rest. only reason am not holding her in the photo is because she Crazy. and i mean that. she freaks out just starts running around and jumping. but she seems fine with the other mice.

forgot if you cant point it out the first photo. male is on the feed dish. the crazy female is standing up. the other girl is under the feed dish

I'm not sure about the tail hair falling out but she DEFINITELY looks breeding size to me! lol

well this have turned bad for one of the females. the 2 girls i thought i had.ones a male. the other one really sick. i put her in her own box.

They do look like breeding size, probably already have. Why do you have them seperate like 1.2 and 0.2. You probably will not be able to add the male to the other girls later as it takes time for colony to form. I have two 1.4 colonies and they do fine. susang

well i had 5 mice. i thought i had 2 girls together. then 1.2 mice in another. but one of the girls got sick and died this morning. then i looked at the one left and now its a male. so now i have 1.1 together. and 1.1 in the other.
