tailtip didn't shed

Hi everyone. My snake has just completed it's fifth shed this morning and since it had been about 10 days, I fed him this evening. Now when I fed him and removed the shed skin I noticed that the very last tip of his tail didn't come of. It was so tiny I didn't notice at first. I've had a bit of a look around and I've seen a few tips and tricks to try and get it of but now I'm wondering if I should try this like pretty much straight away or if should give him a day or two to digest. Since I might need to handle and maybe stress him out a bit I wouldn't want him to regurge his last meal...
So I'm not sure what I should do now

If you just fed him, I would leave him alone for a few days, then try to soak his tail. Regurge Protocol is no fun.

hmm... this is a hard one,
I would say do it now and just be gentile it usually only take a couple minutes to work it off anyway, but I could be wrong..

I honestly don't think a quick handling would make him regurge but I could be wrong and I would also really want that stuck shed off!

so I'm at a toss up!

Wait two or three days and then follow the instructions in the sticky in the Health section. Regurge protocol is no fun.

Normally I'd say a light handling wouldn't hurt. But between the stress of the soak (a lot of snakes aren't the biggest fan) and the decrease in body temperature that will likely result from the soak, it really could easily result in a regurge. A couple days with a tail tip shouldn't cause any noticeable damage. Just be sure to follow the sticky in the health section like Nanci said to get it off. Any actual force in removal can lead to serious damage.

Rather than try to remove it, popping the snake in a feeding tub with a wet face-flannel or washcloth seems to be less stressful than trying to soak the snake as such. The action of rubbing against the wet cloth usually does the trick.
