Start him off on just one fuzzy if your unsure. If he has a good appetite then he should just eat straight away. Nice snake! :)

thanks , are there any signs i should watch for (that he is having problems eating it) and if anything does go wrong is there any on the spot help i can give him?

the first pic is of him a few days before his shed this one was taken a few days after !

tango has shed 4 times now and only once have i caught him in the act, and it was the funnyest thing ive seen in a long while , he rubbed up anything that was solid in his tank , in the end it was his logs that he used but i think yours will be fine rubbing up the rock cave

Hi! I just want to point out that it is considered rude to "hijack" someone else's thread. I just thought that i'd point this out to you considering your new here. Welcome to the forum! :)

About the any problems you may have. I wouldn't worry because corns in the wild have to deal with themselves if they swallow something that's two big. That's why they can regurge.

I don't know what other problems you could have, just make sure the fuzzies the right size.

Most people bump to small fuzzies after a few meals of 2 large pinks, so you shouldn't have any trouble. Try a peach fuzzie (when the fur is just starting to grow) because some corns seem to take a while to get used to the hairy mice!

hi tanya, in regards to moving your snake up on fuzzies, if he takes 4 pinkies i'd imagine he would take 1-2 fuzzies easily but the general rule on here is to see the widest part of his body then feed them mice upto 1 1/2 times that body part. not sure if that makes sense but i'm sure someone else can probably explain it better

also 666 my snake has taken upto 6 days to shed, i guess it depends on weather and humidity. they usually do it within 2-3 days but on 1 or 2 occasions mine have taken longer so dont worry. but if you do worry you can do 2 things, move the water dish to the warmer end to increase the humidity or even get your snake and wash him with warm soapy warmer, dry him of gentley then put him back. i have only done this only once, and it worked a treat, it was the one and only time i have seen it shed, but i guess it should only be done as a last resort.
