I was hoping to get some expertise advice about tank sizes for my corns...

From what I've read it sounds like a 30 gallon tank is perfect for an adult corn, is this true? I currently have one of mine in a 50 gallon tank and shes happier than ever with plenty of hides. Im hoping as long as I have enough hides that my 50 gallon is ok...Am I assuming wrong?
 
a 20 long/29 regular is generally considered the minimum size for an adult corn. If you have a 50 with plenty of hides that is fine as long as it is healthy.
 
My suspicion is that extra space is always fine as long as there are plenty of hides.
 
I move'd my corn into a 40 long when he was about
6 months old.It took him a couple of days to get used
to it,but with plenty of hides and a gigantic bowl of
fresh water he now loves it!

I feel better now. It was rare for me to read anything about anyone having there corns in a 50 gallon tank. My corn loves the tank and is very happy. Plus I love to spoil them and make there homes as cozy as possible. Eventually as the babies grow, I would like to have all 3 in 50 gallon tanks.
