Temp guns?

We are looking to get a good temp gun for a reasonable price. Would you all please share your suggestions? We are concerned about the temp variance we are reading about on some of the models. Obviously you want something accurate, not off by up to 5 degrees! Right now we are considering the KINTREX IRT0421 Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer with Laser Targeting, but thought we'd ask for input since the reviews on Amazon are not from snake owners! At least not the ones I have read. lol

I use Fluke thermometers... I find them to be accurate..
It's worth noting that the further you are from the target the bigger the area being measured.... That can account for inaccurate temp readings..
 
I would reccomend the PE (Pro Exotics) temp gun. They work great. As for my tubs in general I use PetCo probe thermometers. They work well and even work underwater. (I use them for my turtle too!)
