hi all should i measure the temp on the glass above the heat hap or on the top of the substrate, i have searched for an answer online but i just get lots of opinions any help will be appreciated, thank you
 
I measure on the glass just to be sure my snakes cant get burned if they burrow to the bottom.. If you are using a UTH measure it on the glass and if you use a heat lamp then measure it on the top of the substrate
