~♪Sorry and Thanks♪~
Honestly, I've grown a preference to adults over hatchlings.
A few days ago, we discovered mites in the collection. Immediately gave the snakes a bath and got a vet on phone to give them some medications. They are now in their vacation homes on paper towels. One of the cages locked while the other one for the 3 year old Ball Python locked on each end only. There was an area in the middle where he could force his way out but we were doubtful. I put some books on there anyways and planned to go to the store the next day, as I had discovered mites at around 2 in the morning.
To cut to the chase, the next day, I heard several crashes. I assumed my sneaky dog knocked something over to grab food or something, so I went upstairs. Saw the lid on the side of the tank and immediately panicked. It only took about a minute to find out where he was, because he was limited on places he could wedge into.
If he had gotten out as a hatchling,we would have never found the bugger!
