thanks for the great advice so far all!

i gave my bert some time to himself, changed his substrate, and guess what?
he went from being pissed off and curling in a ball ready to strike, to just smelling my hand if that when i go to pick him up now, doesnt even attempt to get into strike position or anything :], i put one of my old t-shirts in his tank and his burrows into it all the time now, so i think hes used to my scent too now, he doesnt even get frisky when i take him out, hes completely calm always, and today during feeding, i went to put him in his feedin tub, the pinky was already in there, he grabbed the pinky but didnt wanna leave my hand!! was soo funny, he seems much happier now, thanks everybody i look forward to more guidance in the future ;].
