ILOVECORNSNAKES

My lil Delilah!! ^^
OMG! That was awesome!!! Okay, so José was in blue 2 days ago, and yesterday he *appeared* to be shed. So today, my niece and I(she's staying with us till July) took out José and Delilah for a little photo shoot. Delilah was, as per normal, very cooperative. José, who is usually fairly cooperative, was very active. He wouldn't stop moving! I got frustrated and brought the two inside. I set them om the floor and José immediately started rubbing his face on the floor. Then, he did a yawn type thing and the shed came off the bottom of his jaw. I was shocked. I grabbed the tree, that I had just taken out of his tank for cleaning and put it in front of him. I was able to watch the entire shedding process right before my eyes. It was so NEAT!:crazy02:

That IS really cool!! It seems like my snake has been in blue FOREVER!!! I cant wait for him to shed. I've only had him for about a month but he has been getting bluer (is that a word?) and bluer every week.

How fun! I happened upon my guy shedding his first skin (for me - he's actually a few years old) and at first I thought it had come off in two separate parts, but he wasn't finished and I watched him complete an absolutely perfect shed. It really is amazing to watch, especially for the first time. Glad you were there to see it. Too bad you didn't have a video camera...did you get some pics?

That is awesome! I caught my male ghost just after he started shedding once. He had only gotten the skin pulled back past his nostrils, and I got to watch and take many pics as he finished shedding. I was so psyched!

I was sooooo dumb! I had a camra right there with me in the room and I didn't even THINK to take pics. I could have gotten a a vid too, I felt so dumb right after he finished.:dunce:

That's pretty lucky. Cerberus seems like he's only in blue for about five minutes. I'll take him out for bit and his eyes are clear and the next day there's a shed. In fact, I've only ever seen him in blue once in the year that I've had him.

Caught my big guy putting it back on, does that count? :)
