Enclosed find pictures of three of our normals(all males).Interested in opinions as to whether they could be described as okeetee etc.The first is a 10 month old and the others are adults.
You have to understand that I'm no expert..but the 2nd one (head shot) is most deffinately a 'Lookeetee' if not an Okeetee...the others naaah, except for the last one that has some nice colouring but I don't think has enough of the thick, strong black borders that I'd expect....my 0.02!
I think your right Princess. The picture isnt the best, he is much brighter and striking in real life. Ill try and get a better photo, we just put up what we had at the time.
I would call the others normal. The one that princess mentioned is the only one that might possibly be able to be considered and Okeetee Phase corn. A full body shot would be very helpful.
I think photos 1 and 2 are the same snake aren't they? and same for photos 3 and 4? I'd say the 1+2 snake is an Okeetee-esque snake and the 3+4 is a Miami-esque snake but neither to me screams Okeetee or Miami with the one in the last shot, I'd call it a normal (send it over to Sweden and you could get away with calling it an Okeetee!!!
Your right Princess, one and two and three and four are the same snakes. And we thought the same as you (okeetee-esque and miami-esque) but we are only learning about all the diff types and werent too sure if we were right. Thanks for your 0.02. One last question, Would you call the snake used as my avatar a miami phase?
I think your avatar snake has some nice Miami-esque features but I can't tell for sure...on top of that, you don't want to ask me...we'll call just about anything an Okeetee or Miami over here!
Avater snake has a lovely silver background though which is one factor that makes a Miami.
