In all my years of breeding I've never had anything hatch that was unusual. I've had creepy deformed dead snakes that I've cut out, but this year i had a Lav. hatch with only one eye! It has a pattern going over the skin where the eye should be, but no opening, and the other eye is smaller than usual. I put my finger next to it's eye without touching, and it seemed to see me, so I guess it can see from one side. Just thought it was kinda neat, and I guess I'm holding back a pet Lav! It will either be Dread Pirate Willy, or Willemina!
