How are the chondros doing? I haven't been on mvf in ages, dunno if you've been posting other there.
Love the WC FL male. Oddly reminiscent of my WC Jasper Co female, size wise though she had a more orange background. Lost her in 2015, caught her in 2000 at just under 4ft. When she passed, she was around 62-63 inches.
I'm down to 3 chondros. Sold some and some passed due to age. Haven't been on any of the forums lately either. Just decided to come on here the other night and see what's going on. The big guy is pretty large and not too bad to handle. I've gone more into educational stuff now so I have a lot of indigenous species instead of exotics. I'll of course keep Miss Tempest until she dies...she was my first and best chondro! I've still got a few Amazons and a pair of Dominican red mountain boas that I'll breed when they get large enough. Still keeping hots but I've sold the exotics and gotten indigenous stuff (except the red diamondback...just wanted one of those). Hope you're doing well too! Sorry about the loss of your big girl....
Been good mostly. Super stressed with a start-up tox lab that's going through COLA and CLIA reaccreditation, trying to get our ducks in a row first.
I'm down to just my 2003 Freak Nuyt wamena male. Mostly corns now and various non-eublepharid and non-Rhacodactylid geckos.
I need to pop back into the chondro community and see if Chris Roullie (spelling?) still does chondros, and Arus at that. It's either he or Colorado Riverboy I need to hit up I assume.
I would love to, but since I no longer have a forum, I can't edit. I can't even delete the thread so I'm stuck with what came through. I was surprised when it sized them this large as I took the photos off my website and those are normal sized.....
Sounds like you're keeping busy! My collection has shifted more into education so I keep a variety of indigenous venomous and non-venomous snakes for that. Still have three chondros, but I am selling all but Tempest......I've got the three Amazons. I've got one of my males for sale-one I produced but my other male is quite old so I'll be keeping him. My female just had a litter but only one live...the rest were slugs. I bred her to my old male and I think he's just not very viable anymore. If I don't sell my young male I may pair her and him up and see what I get. Tempest is almost 14 years old now and I certainly will never get rid of her! Hope everything goes well for your accreditation.
