I haven't quite decided on a name for my snake yet...as I don't have it yet and will probably get to know it's personality beforehand.
But one name that's really sticking in my head as a possibility is Nigel. Nigel!? Yes, I'm odd. I like old distinguished gentlemanly sounding names for my male animals. My dog's name is Chester. Oddly enough I don't like most common "human" names for female animals (I have a Leia, Aisha, Schatzi, Freyja, Nenya)

I am so bad at naming my snakes, moreso because I am picky and indecisive. But here are the few I have.
Sanuye * 0.1 Amel, means Red cloud at sundown
Lava * 1.0 Miami, just kinda got nicknamed that
Incubus *1.0 Amel (RIP) One of my favorite bands
Succubus *0.1 Snow, was supposed to be Incubus's mate
Indica * 1.0 Ghost, my sister named her, you can only guess what shes named after
Lunacy * 0.1 Anery My daughter named her
Aquene * 0.1 hypo, Means peace
Zephyr * 1.0 Rosy boa, I just love the meaning of this word, and its a nice chilipeppers

I'm a Harry Potter fanatic (constantly reading the books, and watching the movies...) so I like it. I'm surprised I don't have any in my collection with H.P. names...:shrugs: (most just end up with either Irish Gaelic or Star Wars names <----makes me even more of a nerd )
