the proper way to pick up a corn?

Sandra

corn neophyte
I handled my new corn for the first time last night. I am wondering what is the correct way to pick her up out of her viv, though. I removed her hide, put my hand low in front of her and let her smell it, then I gently picked her up with one hand and put her on my other hand. But I wonder if I should be supporting her entire body when I pick her up, instead of just one small section like I did?

I usually grab them about mid-body and lift them out. Always support big ones in the middle, and don't let big ones dangle from the tail.:)
