The Rope and the Shoestring

That's for sale???
Here's a couple of pictures of C.S. my big amel male and my new little aztec baby. Such a difference in size! She's only about 30 grams and 18" long, and he's almost 4 ft. and 587 grams.

I'll take some more photos. I did post some earlier, but they aren't as nice as the ones I took the other day. Unfortunately, when I went to download some other pictures, it erased everything I had originally taken :( I just fed her, so maybe this weekend I'll get more. Here are a couple of her body though they aren't great.

Flash is off, and on super closeup stuff, like macro, and super macro etc., the flash automatically is off. It's just direct sunlight that's lighting it and reflecting off the leaf. The others I took came out great, but they dissapeared into the nether world...who knows where????? If you're talking about the original photos, those are my hubby's work. I always use a piece of paper to divert the flash so that it doesn't wash out the photo. He just snapped them as I held the snakes. He doesn't play with the camera as much as I do!

No sweat! I'm still experimenting and figuring out what this camera can do. I played quite a bit with the macro settings this last time, and I can't wait to take some photos again. I had some really neat super macro photos of her head on with her tongue flicking out.

No they don't. All my snakes are housed seperately and I don't even usually handle them together. I only did for the photo, and I really kept an eye on the amel as it was feeding night and when he gets into the feed mode, he's on. He'll never bite while you're holding him, but get him in a feeder box and there better be a rat coming! I didn't want him to mistake her for a morsel accidently :) even with me holding him.

what kind of camera do you have? i have a crappy point and shoot sony digital camera with no zoom...and it gives WAY too much noise...especially in the dark haha...i'm gonna get a canon 350d (dslr camera)in the next month or 2 :)

Kvlt:An Olympus C-5050. It's outdated already, but it's pretty cool.
Tand: Thanks, they'll get better....

The picture does make him look fat, but he's out often and looks good when he's roaming about. He's only fed every 2 weeks, so it's not like he's fed all the time. He's a big boy though, just a few inches shy of 4 ft.

LOL...it's good to know that he's not as big as he looks! (wish we could all say that ;))

You know how it is on t.v......it always makes you look fatter! He's no shrinking violet, that's for sure, and taken next to her, he looks even bigger. He is a pig though!!!
