the shedding process

my few month old snake has been shedding for the past couple of days. His front in is pink and shiny but by mid body I can see the old skin sort of sticking up. He has a log in his enclosure which is perfect for rubbing on. I was wondering if maybe I need to get him a rock as well? Or are there any other ways for helping shed the rest of his skin?

Nanci has this this thread in health section, it's the first sticky. Good luck, I only have my corn for a few days, I know I will be going back to read this when my time comes :)

After your snake goes blue(looks dull for about a week) and starts shedding, this process takes 30 minutes or so. If it's taking longer you need to make sure there is enough humidity.
