Well, here I am, waiting on a shipment of five snakes wondering what went wrong, lol. When I bought my first snake, I wasn't going to get another one. Just her. Then I got two more. That was going to be the end of it. I can control myself. Then I bought two rat snakes. I originally wanted only one snake, but it didn't take much to convince me to buy more. The count is going to be up to 9. In less than a year of me saying "No more than one! Ever!" :bang: So far Isabelle is still my favorite snake (she took my snakeginity, how could she not be my favorite?), and as soon as Susan has some babies I'll probably be buying another one... or two or three... Where does it end?

Oh, and by the way, I found my camera while moving. So you're all going to have to endure rounds of bad pictures every time the snakes eat, lol. I think my husband hid it on purpose. I'll be posting new pictures of said snakes when my phone service and internet is switched and hooked up at the new house. They haven't even installed the box yet. So it's going to be until Monday, but on Monday I'll have TONS of pictures to post. I don't think they'll appreciate me hooking up my camera to upload and post pictures here at work. It's bad enough I get on here and read a few threads every once in a while.

I researched cornsnakes with the intention of getting ONE in about 3-4 years when my daughter got a little older. She saw one she liked...ALOT...and so we got it last December.

Than, mbdorfer, the king of kings, along with Roy Munson, who just has a convincing tone without trying, showed pictures of Mexican Black Kingsnakes...of which I had been looking at. Dean gave me a little push to "just hold Him!!!"...and I did...and came home with her about 2 months ago.

Then...I went to the pet shop where they had a beautiful florida king. She was biting the staff and all the customers. So I held her...ONLY to see why she was biting...but she wouldn't bite me. Long story short...the shop made me an offer I couldn't refuse, and I went home with her.

Currently, I am waiting to purchase a 1.2 trio of anery motleys het. amber to start a breeding program next year. Where will it end? I have no idea...but I'm going to enjoy every single moment of the trip!!!

I was content with 1 snake for almost 3 years. Last october my daughters talked me into getting a baby from the petshop. We had an extra tank, so what the heck.

In february we went to a local reptile show to get frozen feeders for our adult Tiaga. Saw some really cute okeetee's and at 20 bucks I just COULDN'T pass Brogan up. I almost went back to the reptile show last weekend, but one of my daughters wasn't feeling well. So I've spared myself getting another snake for one more month...LOL

When does it end? My question is....DOES IT EVER END?

I'm sitting on the edge of my chair looking out the window, waiting for the snakes to get here. I need addiction counseling. HURRY UP WITH MY SNAKES! They're being too slow. It's already 9:45am, they left Jax at 8:40. That's an hour for a 30 minute drive. They can skip everyone else on the way, they can hit them on the way back, lol. I want my snakes. I'm sitting here with my camera, leaning my head sideways to look out the window so I can see when they pull up. I hope a customer doesn't walk in, lol.
