thermometer question

serpentina

What the deuce???
I finally caved and bought the digital thermometer/humidity meter. What a difference from those nasty stick-on ones! I was cleaning the viv and they broke! I didn't even get much water on them (I was being very careful). Anyway, I have the kind with the probe and was wondering if you put it just under the substrate or all the way to the bottom? My snake rarely burrows because I have three hides for him to use.

Well just in case he does he won't get burnt. Just place then probe where the uth is (the warm part of your viv) and you will get the warmest reading there,

Good Luck

Yeah...what he said :D I periodically move the probe all over the viv to get an idea of "where temps are". I've always got it stuck in somebody's viv or tub. You just don't want to take any chances that your "kids" might get burned.

Good Luck!
