Thermostat Brand Suggestions

Hey there! I'm currently shopping about for a thermostat (for use with a UTH), and I wondered if I might get some opinions. There are three different brands that I'm considering:

http://www.beanfarm.com/store/agora.cgi?cart_id=7203959.27470&product=Temperature_Control&user4=On/Off%20Thermostat&xm=on

http://www.bigappleherp.com/BAH-1000-Thermostat#

And, of course, the ZooMed . . .

http://www.reptilesupply.com/product.php?products_id=75

I like that the Alife has a safety shut off, and I think the BAH-1000 does, too, but I'm unsure about the ZooMed in this regard. I don't have a snake as of yet, but I'm preparing for one. So far I've only acquired a plastic Sterilite tub to keep it in, and now I'm working at gathering everything else I'll need.

Any opinions on the brands I've provided would be very much appreciated! Or, if you have a different brand to suggest, I'd appreciate that as well.

Thanks a lot!

I have that BAH running as the back-up thermostat on my racks, but I can't say how well it does on it's own. I _did_ choose that model for the back-up because of the reliability of the previous version of the BAH, which looked _exactly_ like that Bean Farm thermostat. I have used plenty of ZooMeds, and they allow some temperature swing. It's worth it to me to spend $125 on a Herpstat and just set it and forget it...

Of those, I would go with the BAH. The probe on it is humongous, I'm not sure why, which makes it a little problematic if you want to place it under a bin in a rack. Inside a viv, who cares.

i use ranchos and helixes. love them. i have used herpstat when i pet sat for my buddy one week before. thats what he uses. i have no idea about any of the ones you posted. you could sign up on faunaclassifieds or just go check out their product suggestions and see if you can find it there.
