Thermostat suggestions

So I bought a thermostat for my UTH and because I didn't pay enough attention, it turns out it was one with a dimmer switch and not digital like I wanted. So I'm returning it and hoping you guys can give me suggestions for a good and reasonably priced digital thermostat.

I use a regular heat mat with a sliding dimmer switch connected to it, it is a few days of trial and error but I got the temps to a perfect 85 degrees on the hot side.

Lucky you!! I tried the dimmer thing once. Got fed up and returned it :p

I don't think dimmers or rheostats work well for places where the temps vary a lot. Like where I live, it could be 85 during the day and 70 at night. I guess that is kind of my fault, because I try to use as little heat/AC as I can be happy with.

My fiancée and I have a different idea of what a comfortable temp is lol. So I can't use a dimmer. She's at least agreed to not mess with the living room thermostat for Jones's sake.

I have that issue too! It's more of a problem, though, when the snakes are on room heat, not their own heat source.

The hydrofarm will work quite well for controlling your heat mat. I have used it and liked it.
