Does anyone know of a good thermostat for rack systems tht work in the uk ?

Look into Habistat thermostats. I'm not sure about using them on a rack though.

Not sure what your needs are. For single unit control you can't beat the Habistat. It's the UK equivalent of the ever so popular Hydrofarm as far as price per performance goes. If you need something fancier, it gets a bit tricky. You could contact SpyderRobotics and see if they make a UK Herpstat... but it doesn't look like they do anymore. There is a fairly pricey but pretty awesome company EcoZone that makes "vivarium controllers" internationally. They can control multiple devices but you have to buy extra temp controller probes. You'd be looking for the Eco400S.
 
Just realized, if you're dong a rack you are probably using flexwatt (or it's equivalent) or a heat cable... so one controller should definitely do the trick. Look into the Habistat. Seriously, it's the most commonly used and suggested UK thermostat on the market atm.
