Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

If you want cheap, the Zoo-Med 500R is a decent choice. If you want a more expensive but much better model, I have the Ranco thermostat. A Johnsons Controls is also a great choice. But I have the Ranco wired to my rack.
If you are just planning on using it on one tank then the cheaper one will probably adequately suit your needs. But, corns are addicting, so plan on having more than one

Or you can purchase or make your own rheostat, but those fluctuate depending on ambient temperature. I made my own but found that my room temp kept changing so one day I came home and my tanks were over 100 degrees! So personally, I dont recommend those.
I agree with Angela. If you're only heating 1 tank, buy or make a light dimmer. If you need a thermostat, here's a link to a fellow forum member. I got my Herpstat from him and love it. Great customer service too.:wavey:
