They're Hatching!

Thickthroat

I went up to check on the temp in the incu since it's a hot day and when I opened it up I saw a deflated egg but I was confused because there was no snake. I was starting to think it was dead or the snake was still in it but it was all the way deflated. Then I was thinking it got out or something. The last time I check on them was yesterday at around 9pm they all looked nice and plump no pipping or anything and it was only around 11am today I found it deflated. I didn't know what happened I was just sad there was no baby in sight. I was REALLY bummed and just decided to water down the perlite to keep the others hydrated and when I scooped up some perlite up I noticed a little pink thing crawling in my hands... I was so excited!!! I still am! My very first corn snake hatchling ever!

The others are still in their egg with no signs on pipping but who knows, this one made its way out pretty fast. This one had a leaking problem a few weeks ago and lost some goo so maybe that's the reason why it's earlier than the rest. Today is day 62 in the incubator.

Thanks guys! I'm really excited to seethe rest. The mom who is an Anery must be get for Amel so I should get half snow half anery.

Congratulations! The first baby is an amazing thing, isn't it? I hope the rest of the little darlings hatch soon for you.

Thanks. There's two more pipping now since yesterday evening around 4pm. It's been 13 hours and no improvement. How long do they pip for? This first one seemed to get out pretty fast.

Is it normal to have eggs hatch on different days? 4 of them hatched already. They started pipping the other day but there are still 2 left that haven't.

There's a little Anery pipping right now. I was starting to think I was going to get all snows. I didn't want to disturb it too much. There's still one more egg that has hatching to do!

One of the snows seems to have a little bit of a dome don't you think? Are there any health problems that come along with that?
