I just don't know what to stop her from doing this. She does this every time I handle her... Any suggestions?

....wash your hands with soap containing alcohol
....use after shave
....beer

something like that, they hate it

I usually do wash my hand before I handle her.. She is just insane. Tries to anything.. And the strange thing is she is well fed. I feed her every week.

LOL....

Marcel, that is funny.
I can't think of anything other than what Camus said about putting something distasteful on your hands first.

I had one do that for a short time after I first got her, attempted to see how she could eat me down. But she only did it for a few months and then stopped and I don't know what caused her to stop.

I know it must make handling 'very interesting' for you but it is funny.....LOL.

i owned a pair miami phase. both were like bulldogs. when you opened the cage the could "fly" directly into my hand and bite me.
i waited until 2 weeks ago when 10 eggs of them went into my incubator and sold them as "non live harmless corns":D

Marcel, let her eat. She won't be able to digest a meal that large anyway. Perhaps she will learn her lesson when she regurgs..:D

Ahh, come on Marcel! You have 8 fingers and 2 thumbs! Give her a break, you don't absolutely need all those fingers!

:nyah:

I have no advice, but those pictures made me laugh more in one sitting than I have laughed all week.

Good luck!

Anyone remember the french children's tale "Le Petit Prince," in English "The Little Prince?" In it is a picture of a boa who has swallowed an elephant ... this is what comes to mind as I look at your hungry little snake. Talk about eyes bigger than her stomach!

Maybe varity is the spice of her life. Or your just one tasty tid bit of flesh. My son rolled on the floor laughing when I showed him the pictures.
Peace Paul

Helpful hints

Marcel, perhaps you can coat your hands with something they won't like. Latex gloves, hot pepper, or something like that.

You might try putting a sewing thimble on your finger tip, or a rubber finger tip from the office supply store.

You might also experiment with feeding her a bit more often.
